Leukemia is a form of cancer that begins in the blood-forming cells of the bone marrow - soft,inner part of the bones. Leukemia - which literally means "white blood" in Greek - occurs when there is an excess of abnormal white blood cells in the blood. Known as leukocytes, these cells are so plentiful in some individuals that the blood actually has a whitish tinge. The leukemic cells accumulate and lessen the production of oxygen-carrying red blood cells (eythrocytes), bloodclotting cells (platelets), and normal leukocytes. If untreated, the surplus leukemic cells overwhelm the bone marrow, enter the bloodstream, and eventually invade other parts of the body, such as the lymph nodes, spleen, liver, and central nervous system (brain, spinal cord). In this way, the behavior of leukemia is different than that of other cancers, which usually begin in major organs and ultimately spread to the bone marrow.

When my daughter was 5 years old she was diagnosed with Leukemia. When we got her to Children's Hospital in Seattle they told us she had less than a month to live. The doctors said they were going to start bringing her back to health immediately be inserting, by surgical procedure, a Porta-Cath in her chest so they could administer the Chemo-Therapy drugs into her body. The Porta-Cath is a sort of metal bowl with a rubber cover and a thin tube leading from it. It is put into the chest above the heart and the tube is inserted into a vein in that area. Her drug protocol was 14 different drugs over a two and one-half year period. They gave us a stack of papers with all the "side effects" she could experience and one even had heart failure listed. Some parents down there told us that if the Leukemia didn't get her the Chemo drugs would. She was in the hospital all but five weeks that first year and we almost lost her several times during that year. I will spare you the shocking details but will give you more info if you would like to phone me later. At the end of that year the doctors said she had relapsed and she had about a twenty percent chance of making it. Well, Thank God doctors are human and they can make mistakes because after a battery of test they said she hadn't relapsed but was very close. At that time we were just experiencing the Nikken products for my wife who had a health challenge of her own. Her experience was
surprising, but that is another story. We brought our daughter home for a visit and I decided to put her on the products. (Insoles, Mattress Pad & Pillow, a Back Flex for her back when she got Spinal Taps, and Mini's put into a headband for the severe migraine's she would get after the Spinal Taps). Within one month her whole life had changed. (First of all we were delighted to have her home for a month without having to go back into the hospital for anything. A cold sore could be dangerous for her if not treated properly and was usually in the hospital for stuff like that. Things like that would bring her health way down because she had no immune system to speak of. Her ANC Count fell to as low as 26, to 50 on several occasions and that is dangerous; extremely dangerous). During that month I noticed major changes in her health and stamina. The real eye opener was when she would get leg shots, we would have to carry her around for several days because she would be weak kneed and fall into things. While on the sleep system and the legs shots were administered, she would not fall or even look like she was off balance at all. She could run and play without any hesitation. THAT got my attention! I started a research into Nikken and the products and needless to say six years later I am in the business and have helped so many people with some pretty severe health challenges that it is nothing less than miraculous. When our daughter's doctors found out what we were doing they sent us back to Seattle where a team of seven doctors examined her over a period of several days and their comment was: “Off the record”, if this is the only alternative you are using for her; 'KEEP HER ON IT' because the only thing we can say at this moment, with certainty, is that the magnets will not hurt her." Our daughter will be eleven in July. She is in perfect health and the Leukemia is gone!!!!! Praise God! Praise the Lord for Nikken! I've seen first hand that the products address our immune systems. For a year, all we heard from her doctors was that her immune system was low, very low; and these products let her immune system repair itself so that it could allow her body to correct itself even from a severe illness such as this. There is one thing that I want to make clear - that when we used the system on our daughter we did not use the quilt. The quilt will cool you down if you are warm and we didn't want the quilt cooling her off when her temperature was rising because when the temperature was on the rise that is an indication that something is wrong and we were to phone the doctors ASAP and get her into the
hospital for blood draws. If we were to use the quilt it would have cooled her down and we wouldn't have known that she had a temperature therefore the bug in her would have been left alone to manifest itself into whatever it would become..........Very dangerous! The quilt wasn't used until after she was in the clear and after many months we then put her under the quilt. One little girl we know of who had Leukemia and several other terminal challenges was sent home because she only had about a week left. Her mother was a friend of ours and called us to see if she could get some of the products for her daughter. She put her on a system and much to the surprise of everyone she lived on for another four months. She was doing very well until a severe case of Gout brought her down but until then she was able to play as she had regained her strength. Another man with Leukemia was told he had to have a bone marrow transplant because that was the last thing they could do to save his life but he was told that the chances were slim because of what could happen afterwards. We had to work thru his wife and she insisted that he try the system. She was able to convince the doctors that the products would help boost the immune system that the doctors had the mattress pad sterilized and brought into the procedure room for him to lay on. He has recovered much to everyone's surprise. WHAT A COINCIDENCE!
I will end this with what my daughter felt about all this. Every night she would pray that Jesus would send David to knock the Goliath out of her. After about six months of experiencing the sleep system she came to me and asked if she could name her mattress pad "David" because she felt that Jesus had arranged for her to sleep on the pad and THAT WAS HER DAVID because the Goliath was gone. It eradicated 30 to 50 percent of these cells In a third trial, the extract inhibited the growth of three types of prostate cancer cells by 90 to 100 percent. In one informal study, a Japanese dermatologist observed a group of 25 patients with skin diseases ranging from melanosis (darkening of the skin) to eczema. The patients who took barley grass extract healed faster than did those who did not. They also noticed improvements in appetite and bowel regularity. One of the most common health problems in North America today is poor digestion. There are several reasons for poor digestion, but the two biggest reasons are the inability of your body to produce enough enzymes, and the lack of digestive enzymes in the food that you eat. Digestive enzymes are organic protein molecules that break down food particles such as proteins, carbohydrates, and fats; and convert them into smaller absorbable nutrients that your body can use to build cells, tissues, and organs. You obtain most of your digestive enzymes from the food that you eat, and your body also produces enzymes of its own. I am helping a gentleman with Leukemia -- Last Saturday, I gave his wife the sleep system - the doctor agreed to have it in the hospital. The doctor said that he does not know all the answers and he would welcome anything that could help his patient with leukemia. We have been working with a little 18 month old girl, Claudia. She has a blood disorder in which the platelets in her blood are very low, which can lead to multiple complications, including Leukemia. For the last 3 months, her platelet count has been 13,000. Normal platelet count is 150,000-400,000. I just received a call from the hospital where she has to get her platelets counted every month. I was first introduced to Nikken the night before my son had oral surgery to have all four of his wisdom teeth removed. The nice folks that invited us to the Nikken meeting loaned him the Power Mag and gave us some of the filtered water. The next two days following his surgery, he used the Power Mag regularly - the first day, every 20 minutes switching from one side of his face to the other alternating the ice packs they had told him to use. Then without the ice on the second and third days, less frequently and without the ice packs. The dentist explained that the swelling would gradually increase until its peak on the 3rd & 4th days following the surgery. He also told us that the healing would be from the inside out and so he would have "holes" for a while and the need to be extra diligent in his oral hygiene until the healing took place. He said it would take 5-6 weeks to get back to normal. On Sunday, he still had indiscernible swelling and I thought maybe I would finally see swelling on Monday. On Monday, looking in his mouth, I could not see where the surgery had been except for one area on his lower left jaw. There was no redness and no swelling anywhere in his mouth, and only one of the incisions was still open. I didn't fully appreciate this til the next morning when he had a follow up visit, and when the swelling should have been at its peak. When the dentist saw Ryan, he remarked with considerable surprise, "You don't have any swelling!". He looked at me and as if remembering said, "You said you were going to do something". He then looked in his mouth and told us that my son was 75% further along in the healing process than the average person he sees at that point. That last incision was closed by the end of the week and he has fairly recovered in less than half the time he had been told to expect. The Power Mag lived up to its name. I believe that using it together with drinking the water, accelerated his healing. We were thrilled with the results.

I had two jaw teeth on the left and one jaw tooth on the right extracted at the same time. They were just roots, as the crowns had broken off. I placed a super mini on the left and a regular mini on the right, held it on with a sweat band around the head and under the jaw. I took not aspirin, Tylenol, or prescription pain pill, ate Jell-O at noon, toast about 3 PM. cereal that evening and ate normally the following day. Spit no blood ever, and had no swelling or bruising the following morning. I had extensive mouth surgery on June 6th. The 2-hour operation took bone from lower mouth and grafted to upper jaw. The Lidocaine wore off in 2 hours after the surgery. I went back on the 8th just for a check and the Periodontist wanted to know why I was not taking pain medication, was not groggy, and had no discomfort. I had 40 stitches taken out on the 13th and the Periodontist again was totally amazed that I had not taken pain medication, and had no

As dentists, we've learned that if we can adjust the surfaces of the teeth (re-contour 'em, move 'em or build 'em up) so that when the jaw joints are seated completely where they belong up in the base of the skull & the jaw closes and all the teeth contact at the same time, with the same intensity & on stable surfaces perpendicular to the arc of closure, most of the problems disappear, since most of them are caused by spasms of the muscles of mastication & the nerve signals to those muscles seem to shut down & allow the system to relax when the "balanced bite" I've described is achieved. The Super Mini placed just in front of each ear would allow the same relaxation of the muscles & in time, using MagSteps by day, & sleep system by night, those muscles that seem to cause the jaw problems would relax regardless of the relation of the joint to the biting surface of the teeth (if the teeth don't contact, that relationship doesn't matter).

I had a crowned tooth, which had cracked and had to be extracted. The dentist really had to wrestle with it and had to make an incision in the gum as well. My gums have been very sensitive and I have had 2 root canals done and knew that eventually more would have to be done. I decided to use the Palmag on my gums. After about 2 months' use I had another dental check-up and cleaning. On gum pocket depth exam, of 12 spots which were 4 or 5 (not good), 10 of them became normal! Lana has a condition that makes the teeth/gums bleed, get loose and fall out. There isn't anything that can be done medically. Just to wait till they all fall out and get dentures. I really enjoy the shower filter. Not only does it make my skin feel softer and my hair shinier but I also use it as a Water Pick for my gums. My gums have been receding and bled quite often. Since drinking the PiMag water I saw some relief but not as much as when I started running the water over my gums and teeth while in the shower. I have noticed that my retainer for my teeth doesn't get all icky looking. I used to have to take it to the dentist and have him put it on his ultra-sound machine to get the hardened junk taken off. Last year, I have had extractions and two implants. I didn’t have to use any pain pills at all. I used the seat to sit on, the sleep mask, and necklace. But afterwards, I taped the mini's on right away. I had a slight discomfort when the deadening was going out, but very little and it lasted only a short while. My husband had one extraction and one implant a couple of years ago and he had no problem either. And he feels pain much more than I.

I spoke with Dr. Donald Lurie who is an Oral Surgeon. Here is his advice for those who may deal with this tooth extraction in the future: After the surgery, wait a few hours till the bleeding has ceased and clots have formed. Then, tape super-minis on each cheek, or the credit card sized magnet which will cover both upper and lower jaw. Keep on through the night, if possible. The following day, rinse with Optimized Water but be gentle with swishing and spitting. Add a pinch of salt to the water.

I have found tremendous relief from teeth grinding (at night) from wearing the necklace (chain for men!). I wear it 24/7 -- on occasion I will not wear it to bed just for a test -- if I do that 2 nights in a row I wake with a tension headache and sore teeth! Loosening of teeth, without doubt, is due to weak nerves and there is NO BETTER TOOL THAN PALMMAG for this problem. I have had life-long problem with sensitive teeth which is the same nerve problem. With PalmMag on each jaw about 10 min. a day, the problem disappeared and when I went back for a dental check up 2 months later, even the abnormally deep gum pockets became normal, 10 out 12 spots! I own a gymnastic school and coach competitive gymnastics. I usually have several gymnasts getting or in braces. We were preparing for a meet and one of my better gymnasts was crying and inquired, what was up. She said that she had just had her braces tightened and it hurt so much she wanted to go home, I said OK, she called her MOM. She was doing her conditioning waiting for her Mom. I was adding pi-concentrate to my water. I remembered someone saying they had a dentist using the pi-concentrate in their practice. I asked my gymnast if she would be willing to try something, she said if it would help she would try anything. When I told her what I had in mind she said I had to try it first. So I did and told her it was very salty but not too bad. I warned her it would most probably sting. So she opened up and I put in about 5 or 6 drops, you would have thought I had killed her. She yelled - said it did hurt - I said stick with it, she was tough. I went back to practice her MOM showed up, she came over to me and asked if it was OK if she continued practice. When I first started Nikken, I was a major teeth grinder (all my molars are crowned now) and had migraines, etc. I was on holiday for 6 weeks and tried the Nikken products during this time (sleep system, jewelry, etc). I recently had a root canal and used Nikken products before, during and after the procedure. I used the biaxial super minis during the day and at night I taped on 2 super minis. Because I have a problem with the joint in my face, my dentist felt I needed an anesthetic during the procedure. When I talked with my endodontist I took my super minis with me. With his approval I placed the 2 super minis over my TMJ joint during the procedure. After the root canal I then placed the 2 superminis over the affected tooth area. In addition I used 2 immunity and 1 Lactoferrin nutritional supplements every 6-8 hours until the swelling and gum redness disappeared. I have had very good experience with the PalmMag on a root canal problem. Because they could not deaden my tooth enough to do a root canal. I was first introduced to Nikken the night before my son had oral surgery to have all four of his wisdom teeth removed. The nice folks that invited us to the Nikken meeting loaned him the Power Mag and gave us some of the filtered water. As dentists, we've learned that if we can adjust the surfaces of the teeth (re-contour 'em, move 'em or build 'em up) so that when the jaw joints are seated completely where they belong up in the base of the skull & the jaw closes and all the teeth contact at the same time, with the same intensity & on stable surfaces perpendicular to the arc of closure, most of the problems disappear, since most of them are caused by spasms of the muscles of mastication & the nerve signals to those muscles seem to shut down & allow the system to relax when the "balanced bite" I've described is achieved. Last year, I have had extractions and two implants. I didn’t have to use any pain pills at all. I used the seat to sit on, the sleep mask, and necklace. Here is his advice for those who may deal with this tooth extraction in the future: After the surgery, wait a few hours till the bleeding has ceased and clots have formed. Then, tape super-minis on each cheek, or the credit card sized magnet which will cover both upper and lower jaw. Keep on through the night, if possible. The following day, rinse with Optimized Water but be gentle with swishing and spitting. Add a pinch of salt to the water.

I own a gymnastic school and coach competitive gymnastics. I usually have several gymnasts getting or in braces. We were preparing for a meet and one of my better gymnasts was crying and inquired, what was up. She said that she had just had her braces tightened and it hurt so much she wanted to go home, I said OK, she called her MOM. She was doing her conditioning waiting for her Mom. Miss Edwards, I read of your student activity regarding the proposed memorial to Colonel Greg Boyington, USMC, and a Medal of Honor winner. I suspect you will receive many angry emails from conservative people like me.
You may be too young to appreciate fully the sacrifices of generations of servicemen and servicewomen on whose shoulders you and your fellow students stand. I forgive you for the untutored ways of youth and your naivete. It may be that you are simply a sheep. There's no dishonor in being a sheep, as long as you know and accept what you are.
William J. Bennett, in a lecture to the United States Naval Academy November 24, 1997, said "Most of the people in our society are sheep. They are kind, gentle, productive creatures who can only hurt one another by accident. We may well be in the most violent times in history, but violence is still remarkably rare. This is because most citizens are kind, decent people, not capable of hurting each other except by accident or under extreme provocation. They are sheep.
Then there are the wolves who feed on the sheep without mercy. Do you believe there are wolves out there who will feed on the flock without mercy? You better believe it. There are evil men in this world and they are capable of evil deeds. The moment you forget that, or pretend it is not so, you become a sheep. There is no safety in denial.
Then there are sheepdogs, and I'm a sheepdog. I live to protect the flock and confront the wolf. If you have no capacity for violence, then you are a healthy productive citizen, a sheep. If you have a capacity for violence and no empathy for your fellow citizens, then you have defined [yourself as] an aggressive sociopath, a wolf. But what if you have a capacity for violence, and a deep love for your fellow citizens? What do you have then? A sheepdog, a warrior, someone who is walking the unsheltered path.
Someone who can walk into the heart of darkness, into the universal human phobia, and walk out unscathed.
We know that the sheep live in denial, that is what makes them sheep.
They do not want to believe that there is evil in the world They can accept the fact that fires can happen, which is why they want fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, fire alarms, and fire exits throughout their kids' schools. But many of them are outraged at the idea of putting an armed police officer in their kids' school. Our children are thousands of times more likely to be killed or seriously injured by school violence than fire, but the sheep's only response to the possibility of violence is denial. The idea of someone coming to kill or harm their child is just too hard. So they choose the path of denial.
The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, cannot, and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheepdog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed. The world cannot work any other way, at least not in a representative democracy or a republic, such as ours. Still, the sheepdog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant reminder that there are wolves in the land.
They would prefer that he didn't tell them where to go, or give them traffic tickets, or stand at the ready in our airports, in camouflage fatigues, holding an M-16. The sheep would much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray paint himself white, and go Baa. Until the wolf shows up Then the entire flock tries desperately to hide behind one lonely sheepdog.
The students, the victims, at Columbine High School were big, tough high school students, and under ordinary circumstances would not have had the time of day for a police officer. They were not bad kids; they just had nothing to say to a cop. When the school was under attack, however, and SWAT teams were clearing the rooms and hallways, the officers had to physically peel those clinging, sobbing kids off of them.
This is how the little lambs feel about their sheepdog, when the wolf is at the door. Look at what happened after September 11, 2001, when the wolf pounded hard on the door. Remember how America, more than ever before, felt differently about their law enforcement officers and military personnel? Understand that there is nothing morally superior about being a sheepdog; it is just what you choose to be.
Also understand that a sheepdog is a funny critter. He is always sniffing around out on the perimeter, checking the breeze, barking at things that go bump in the night, and yearning for a righteous battle. That is, the young sheepdogs yearn for a righteous battle. The old sheepdogs are a little older and wiser, but they move to the sound of the guns when needed, right along with the young ones.
Here is how the sheep and the sheepdog think differently. The sheep pretend the wolf will never come, but the sheepdog lives for that day.
After the attacks on September 11, 2001, most of the sheep, that is, most citizens in America, said "Thank God I wasn't on one of those planes" The sheepdogs, the warriors, said "Dear God, I wish I could have been on one of those planes. Maybe I could have made a difference." You want to be able to make a difference. There is nothing morally superior about the sheepdog, the warrior, but he does have one real advantage. Only one. And that is that he is able to survive and thrive in an environment that would destroy 98 percent of the population.
Research was conducted a few years ago with individuals convicted of violent crimes. These cons were in prison for serious, predatory crimes of violence: assaults, murders, and killing law enforcement officers. The vast majority said they specifically targeted victims by body language:
Slumped walk, passive behavior, and lack of awareness. They chose their victims like big cats do in Africa, when they select one out of the herd that is least able to protect itself.
Some people may be destined to be sheep, and others might be genetically primed to be wolves or sheepdogs. But I believe that most people can choose which one they want to be, and I'm proud to say that more and more Americans are choosing to become sheepdogs.
Seven months after the attack on September 11, 2001, Todd Beamer was honored in his hometown of Cranbury, New Jersey. Todd, as you recall, was the man on Flight 93 over Pennsylvania who called on his cell phone to alert an operator from United Airlines about the hijacking. When they learned of the other three passenger planes that had been used as weapons, Todd and the other passengers confronted the terrorist hijackers. In one hour, a transformation occurred among the passengers - athletes, business people, and parents - from sheep to sheepdogs - and together they fought the wolves, ultimately saving an unknown number of lives on the ground.
Edmund Burke said "There is no safety for honest men except by believing all possible evil of evil men." Here is the point I want to emphasize, especially to the thousands of police officers and soldiers I speak to each year. In nature, the sheep, real sheep, are born as sheep. Sheepdogs are born that way, and so are wolves. They don't have a choice.
But you are not a critter. As a human being, you can be whatever you want to be. It is a conscious, moral decision. If you want to be a sheep, then you can be a sheep - and that is okay, but you must understand the price you pay. When the wolf comes, you and your loved ones are going to die, if there is not a sheepdog there to protect you.
If you want to be a wolf, you can be one, but the sheepdogs are going to hunt you down, and you will never have rest, safety, trust, or love. But if you want to be a sheepdog and walk the warrior's path, then you must make a conscious and moral decision every day to dedicate, equip, and prepare yourself to thrive in that toxic, corrosive moment when the wolf comes knocking at the door.
This business of being a sheep or a sheepdog is not a yes/no dichotomy.
It is not an all-or-nothing, either-or choice. It is a matter of degrees, a continuum. On one end is an abject, head-in-the-sand-sheep, and on the other end is the ultimate warrior. Few people exist completely on one end or the other. Most of us live somewhere in between.
Since 9/11, almost everyone in America took a step up that continuum, away from denial. The sheep took a few steps toward accepting and appreciating their warriors, and the warriors started taking their job more seriously.
Its OK to be a sheep, but do not kick the sheepdog. Indeed, the sheepdog may just run a little harder, strive to protect a little better, and be fully prepared to pay an ultimate price in battle and spirit with the sheep moving from "baa" to "thanks."
We do not call for gifts or freedoms beyond our lot. We just need a small pat on the head, a smile, and a thank you, to fill the emotional tank which is drained protecting the sheep. And, when our number is called by The Almighty, and day retreats into night, a small prayer before the heavens just may be in order to say thanks for letting you continue to be a sheep. And be grateful for the millions of American sheepdogs who permit you the freedom to express even bad ideas.

Miss Edwards, I read of your student activity regarding the proposed memorial to Colonel Greg Boyington, USMC, and a Medal of Honor winner. I suspect you will receive many angry emails from conservative people like me.
You may be too young to appreciate fully the sacrifices of generations of servicemen and servicewomen on whose shoulders you and your fellow students stand. I forgive you for the untutored ways of youth and your naivete. It may be that you are simply a sheep. There's no dishonor in being a sheep, as long as you know and accept what you are.
William J. Bennett, in a lecture to the United States Naval Academy November 24, 1997, said "Most of the people in our society are sheep. They are kind, gentle, productive creatures who can only hurt one another by accident. We may well be in the most violent times in history, but violence is still remarkably rare. This is because most citizens are kind, decent people, not capable of hurting each other except by accident or under extreme provocation. They are sheep.
Then there are the wolves who feed on the sheep without mercy. Do you believe there are wolves out there who will feed on the flock without mercy? You better believe it. There are evil men in this world and they are capable of evil deeds. The moment you forget that, or pretend it is not so, you become a sheep. There is no safety in denial.
Then there are sheepdogs, and I'm a sheepdog. I live to protect the flock and confront the wolf. If you have no capacity for violence, then you are a healthy productive citizen, a sheep. If you have a capacity for violence and no empathy for your fellow citizens, then you have defined [yourself as] an aggressive sociopath, a wolf. But what if you have a capacity for violence, and a deep love for your fellow citizens? What do you have then? A sheepdog, a warrior, someone who is walking the unsheltered path.
Someone who can walk into the heart of darkness, into the universal human phobia, and walk out unscathed.
We know that the sheep live in denial, that is what makes them sheep.
They do not want to believe that there is evil in the world They can accept the fact that fires can happen, which is why they want fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, fire alarms, and fire exits throughout their kids' schools. But many of them are outraged at the idea of putting an armed police officer in their kids' school. Our children are thousands of times more likely to be killed or seriously injured by school violence than fire, but the sheep's only response to the possibility of violence is denial. The idea of someone coming to kill or harm their child is just too hard. So they choose the path of denial.
The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, cannot, and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheepdog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed. The world cannot work any other way, at least not in a representative democracy or a republic, such as ours. Still, the sheepdog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant reminder that there are wolves in the land.
They would prefer that he didn't tell them where to go, or give them traffic tickets, or stand at the ready in our airports, in camouflage fatigues, holding an M-16. The sheep would much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray paint himself white, and go Baa. Until the wolf shows up Then the entire flock tries desperately to hide behind one lonely sheepdog.
The students, the victims, at Columbine High School were big, tough high school students, and under ordinary circumstances would not have had the time of day for a police officer. They were not bad kids; they just had nothing to say to a cop. When the school was under attack, however, and SWAT teams were clearing the rooms and hallways, the officers had to physically peel those clinging, sobbing kids off of them.
This is how the little lambs feel about their sheepdog, when the wolf is at the door. Look at what happened after September 11, 2001, when the wolf pounded hard on the door. Remember how America, more than ever before, felt differently about their law enforcement officers and military personnel? Understand that there is nothing morally superior about being a sheepdog; it is just what you choose to be.
Also understand that a sheepdog is a funny critter. He is always sniffing around out on the perimeter, checking the breeze, barking at things that go bump in the night, and yearning for a righteous battle. That is, the young sheepdogs yearn for a righteous battle. The old sheepdogs are a little older and wiser, but they move to the sound of the guns when needed, right along with the young ones.
Here is how the sheep and the sheepdog think differently. The sheep pretend the wolf will never come, but the sheepdog lives for that day.
After the attacks on September 11, 2001, most of the sheep, that is, most citizens in America, said "Thank God I wasn't on one of those planes" The sheepdogs, the warriors, said "Dear God, I wish I could have been on one of those planes. Maybe I could have made a difference." You want to be able to make a difference. There is nothing morally superior about the sheepdog, the warrior, but he does have one real advantage. Only one. And that is that he is able to survive and thrive in an environment that would destroy 98 percent of the population.
Research was conducted a few years ago with individuals convicted of violent crimes. These cons were in prison for serious, predatory crimes of violence: assaults, murders, and killing law enforcement officers. The vast majority said they specifically targeted victims by body language:
Slumped walk, passive behavior, and lack of awareness. They chose their victims like big cats do in Africa, when they select one out of the herd that is least able to protect itself.
Some people may be destined to be sheep, and others might be genetically primed to be wolves or sheepdogs. But I believe that most people can choose which one they want to be, and I'm proud to say that more and more Americans are choosing to become sheepdogs.
Seven months after the attack on September 11, 2001, Todd Beamer was honored in his hometown of Cranbury, New Jersey. Todd, as you recall, was the man on Flight 93 over Pennsylvania who called on his cell phone to alert an operator from United Airlines about the hijacking. When they learned of the other three passenger planes that had been used as weapons, Todd and the other passengers confronted the terrorist hijackers. In one hour, a transformation occurred among the passengers - athletes, business people, and parents - from sheep to sheepdogs - and together they fought the wolves, ultimately saving an unknown number of lives on the ground.
Edmund Burke said "There is no safety for honest men except by believing all possible evil of evil men." Here is the point I want to emphasize, especially to the thousands of police officers and soldiers I speak to each year. In nature, the sheep, real sheep, are born as sheep. Sheepdogs are born that way, and so are wolves. They don't have a choice.
But you are not a critter. As a human being, you can be whatever you want to be. It is a conscious, moral decision. If you want to be a sheep, then you can be a sheep - and that is okay, but you must understand the price you pay. When the wolf comes, you and your loved ones are going to die, if there is not a sheepdog there to protect you.
If you want to be a wolf, you can be one, but the sheepdogs are going to hunt you down, and you will never have rest, safety, trust, or love. But if you want to be a sheepdog and walk the warrior's path, then you must make a conscious and moral decision every day to dedicate, equip, and prepare yourself to thrive in that toxic, corrosive moment when the wolf comes knocking at the door.
This business of being a sheep or a sheepdog is not a yes/no dichotomy.
It is not an all-or-nothing, either-or choice. It is a matter of degrees, a continuum. On one end is an abject, head-in-the-sand-sheep, and on the other end is the ultimate warrior. Few people exist completely on one end or the other. Most of us live somewhere in between.
Since 9/11, almost everyone in America took a step up that continuum, away from denial. The sheep took a few steps toward accepting and appreciating their warriors, and the warriors started taking their job more seriously.
Its OK to be a sheep, but do not kick the sheepdog. Indeed, the sheepdog may just run a little harder, strive to protect a little better, and be fully prepared to pay an ultimate price in battle and spirit with the sheep moving from "baa" to "thanks."
We do not call for gifts or freedoms beyond our lot. We just need a small pat on the head, a smile, and a thank you, to fill the emotional tank which is drained protecting the sheep. And, when our number is called by The Almighty, and day retreats into night, a small prayer before the heavens just may be in order to say thanks for letting you continue to be a sheep. And be grateful for the millions of American sheepdogs who permit you the freedom to express even bad ideas.

Hope for those suffering from diverticulitis
Many people have small pouches in their colons that bulge outward through weak spots, like an inner tube that pokes through weak places in a tire. Each pouch is called a diverticulum. Pouches (plural) are called diverticula. When the pouches become infected or inflamed, the condition is called diverticulitis.

As most people with chronic illnesses do, I see my life in two distinct parts: BEFORE Illness and AFTER Illness. BEFORE, I was an active person: riding roller coasters and thrill rides on family vacations, hitting the golf course or the ski slopes, hiking with my sons and our dog, and cheering at my sons' ballgames. I also worked long hours as a Bank Manager. This was only 9 years ago, but it feels like an eternity, maybe even a dream. AFTER, I became a shell of my former self: lying in bed or on a couch, completely absorbed in my own pain and suffering. This agony has only been 8 years, but it too feels like an eternity, maybe even a nightmare. My nightmare came in the form of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Psoriatic Arthritis, two inflammatory immune system diseases that crippled me in many ways. It crippled my ability to work because I couldn't keep up the pace; it crippled my high energy with neverending fatigue; it crippled my enthusiasm with relentless, agonizing pain; it crippled my confidence by putting me on a cane, then crutches, and at times, a wheelchair; it crippled my body with attacks on my joints, bones, muscles, heart, lungs and digestive system; and it crippled my family's time because they had to care for me. My Rheumatologist labeled me her 'worst R.A. patient' because it took 4 years to get any of my symptoms under control. And the worst symptom, PAIN, never got under control.
I THOUGHT IT COULDN'T GET ANY WORSE, but I was wrong. One day, as I sat in a transplant room with my brother who had cancer, I noticed tiny red dots on my palms. The dots began to spread to my feet, legs, arms, trunk, and scalp, everywhere except my face. The dots first turned to blisters, then into large, scaling, oozing, bleeding, sores. The skin literally sloughed off my hands and
feet in large strips, and my feet and legs became swollen more than 3 times normal size. I developed nodules in my lungs, inflammation around my heart, and Diverticulitis in my colon. My pain jumped to levels I didn't think possible; even the air felt like acid on my sore riddled body. I went on 32 doctor appointments in 4 months, because no one could truly diagnose me! At first they thought it was Lymphoma, but it was finally diagnosed as Psoriatic Arthritis. The specialists said the medicine I was taking to treat R.A. may have caused these new, horrifying symptoms. I was treated with massive doses of the steroid Prednisone; a whopping 80mg per day! My Rheumatologist told me "the only safe dosage of steroids is 1mg PER MONTH, so we have to find another answer
FAST, before you lose bone!" Too late- I developed osteoporosis anyway, and gained 60 pounds from the steroids. Worse, I only improved while on the higher dosage of steroids, and every time the dosage was reduced my symptoms actually came back worse than they were before!
I began to pray for death; I had prayed for a healing in the past but now I sincerely begged God to take me home and end this agony. I didn't think my sons would miss me that much; I hadn't been able to be a good mom in years: I couldn't walk, let alone hike, ski, sit through a ballgame, cook or clean. All I could do was lie in my bed, moaning in pain and looking like a burn victim with my body slathered in prescription ointment and covered with plastic wrap, Second-Skin patches, white cotton gloves, and men's X-Large size white cotton clothing. Shirt sleeves and pant legs had to be cut to fit over my swollen, raw body. I began an aggressive regime of Methotrexate injections (a type of chemotherapy), and Remicade I.V. infusions. These were also dangerous drugs, but I was desperate! So were my specialists. And the treatment did provide some relief: my skin began to heal, and my pain level went back down to a level 8 out of 10. Yes, my pain was still 8 out of 10, plus I still had horrible stiffness, and energy-draining fatigue. I was grateful for the improvement but still very ill. I had to sell my house and buy one with my Mom and Sister so they could care for me. Of course moving caused me new problems. I began to have horrible throat infections, one after another. Only the biggest, strongest antibiotics worked and then only temporarily. But I didn't have time to worry about this new ailment because something else was about to happen and this time it was not happening to me, but to my beloved mother.

So I took my lead from her story and began the Liver Support. ALL MY LIVER SYMPTOMS WERE GONE IN 4 DAYS! Now it was time to tackle the arthritis pain!
Healing takes time is something my brother told me when he was battling cancer 2 years ago. "Miracles come in an instant, but healings take time", he said. He and I also promised each other that WHEN we were healed we would start a business to help sick people. We also had a sister with cancer, and between the 3 of us, we knew more medical jargon than any non-medical people should know. We didn't know what type of business it would be; we just wanted to help other sick and hurting people. My sister beat cancer but our brother passed away November 2005. I was still so ill I didn't know if I could get through his funeral. I had to wear men's house slippers and use crutches. I was also miserable because I knew I couldn't keep that promise "to help others". I recalled his words again when at first, I didn't get better on the Sleep System...when 2 , then 5, then 7 weeks went by and no change. But during the 8th week I began to heal. I woke up one day and did not need my wheelchair. Another week and I no longer needed my crutches or cane to get around! My life had always revolved around the 13+ pills I took every day: pills for arthritis, pain, sleep, muscle spasms, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, and Diverticulitis. I had weekly injections and an I.V. infusion every 6 weeks. And now I've reduced my daily intake from 13 pills, down to 2. I no longer take the chemotherapy injections, so my liver should remain healthy. CIAGA has quieted the Diverticulitis and I've just started the Joint Support which I fully believe will bring me closer to the before Illness me. My brother was right...Healings Do Take Time! It took 8 years for my body to deteriorate, but only 8 weeks to begin healing it.
The answer to my prayers was not death, it was LIFE! On my last visit to the pain management clinic, my doctor DID NOT RECOGNIZE ME---HE even INTRODUCED himself to me. When he opened my chart and saw my name he said "Holy Mackerel, Emma I didn't recognize you; you look healthy, and well! He called for his staff to come see me saying, "Do you remember Ms Coccari, she was in a wheelchair before, and look at her now!" I gave him lots of NIKKEN information to review. He says he is a True Believer because he has seen it work--he has seen ME! Dr. Ackerman has asked if he could refer certain patients to me and I've invited him to attend NIKKEN meetings. Finally, I can again be a good Mom, Sister, Daughter, and Friend. I have a new prayer: "God, please let me be bold for NIKKEN". This is the business my brother and I dreamed about. I can keep that promise now! And
after being a pain-controlled recluse for years, I now invite everyone to come see me in Berea, Kentucky. But you won't find me at home: I'll be sitting high up in the center bleachers at my son's ballgames, cheering wildly! God Bless NIKKEN, and everyone who helped me!

Hope for those suffering from Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis. It is also known as degenerative joint disease (DJD). Possible causes including: injury, age, congenital predisposition and obesity. It is characterized by the breakdown of the articular cartilage within the joint. Articular cartilage is a firm rubbery protein material covering the end of a bone. It acts as a cushion or shock absorber between the bones. When articular cartilage breaks down, this cushion is lost, and the bones will grind together. This causes the development of symptoms such as pain, swelling, bone spur formation and decreased motion. How does one thank a company for giving back, and savings ones life? Sound like too much? Two years ago, I was given a number to all, by a lady who cared enough about me, to CARE! She wasn't even a distributor, but the mother of one. It took me three weeks, but I did make that call, thank God. On Sept. of '98 I started using the products. I became a distributor in Oct. of '98. Although I am only an executive in level, I have been
my own best customer. I have incontinence, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, degenerative disease of the back with several herniated disks causing sever sciatica, messed up feet from several bad operations and arthritis, ongoing tendonitis and bursitis due to labor intensity related to my job (40 to 50 hours a week) and tinnitus (ears). Add to that a stress related life one would never want to trade with me for, burns, broken toes and Big time all around DISCOMFORTS. I have great humbleness of gratitude to Nikken. Had I not had these products at the exact time I did, I would have lost my job due to disability. My back and sciatica were so intense, my lack of sleep and leg weakness were to the breaking point. I have osteoarthritis throughout my whole body - Nikken changed my life 5 years ago - I was going to the Chiropractor every other day - excruciating "discomfort" was the norm. I was lent some products and ...as the story goes...the rest was history. My 91 year old mother-in-law has had four compression fractures followed by Kyphoplasty which stablizes them. For her general comfort, she swears by the CM Cream (won't go to bed without having her back rubbed down with it). She also sits on the Kenkoseat during the day and takes the Joint Formula religiously. We think the PiMag water would also be beneficial, but at her age she doesn't cooperate on that issue. All in all, our products really seem to help her tremendously so we feel blessed!

I have a bad case of osteoarthritis of both knees. I was on Vioxx for awhile and then on Celebrex. About a year ago, I was able to get off Celebrex by taking the Joint supplement. I take other supplements and drink a lot of PiMag water which, I'm sure, contributes to the absence of pain in my legs but I feel the Joint was the primary cause for my relief.

There were days that the pain just sucked the desire for any activity right out of me. I got the KenkoWave and it has made a difference. I haven't had a Vioxx for a couple of months. And, I'm reasonably active. I don't feel like new, but I have good function in the knees without the persistent pain. I also use FIR knee wrap with magnets.

I have been born into a family with a long genetic line of osteoarthritis. At 45, I started to see changes in two of my fingers. I immediately went on the joint formula which I take religiously twice a day (two capsules twice a day) and wear the bracelet. My joints have not increased in size and I do not experience any further discomfort or stiffness except on the WORST of weather days andthat is when I might have taken my bracelet off or run out of joint formula. I have osteoarthritis and it has affected all my joints. Many discs have fused in my neck and back. Before Nikken I had severe migraines, and back and hip pain. Hope for our Veterans challenged with Agent Orange issues.
Agent Orange was contaminated by the experimental carcinogen 2,3,7,8-
tetrachlorodibenzoparadioxin (TCDD). A link between agent orange (dioxin) and a plethora of
alleged health problems (cancers, birth defects) is evident within many soldiers who were
exposed. In 1997 the government decided to compensate Vietnam vets whose children have
neural tube defects.
I have a heart and desire to help our veterans. Will go to Operation American Heroes you will see a great organization focused on making a difference in the lives of our first responders including our veterans. If we as American band to together and all help a little we will make a significant difference in the lives of those who make it possible for us to live the quality life we live. Thank you to all who want to help and are helping.

Since I was medically evacuated out of Vietnam, I have had numerous physical problems. Because of significant discomfort in several parts of my body, the Army put me on heavy narcotics. At first it was just a few pills per day, but by the time I was medically discharged in Dec. 1977 I was up to 5 to 6 per day. All these did was dull the discomfort so I could function at an acceptable level.
As the years progressed, I found my health getting increasingly worse. In 1994, I was hospitalized for shortness of breath, extreme tightness in my chest, and discomfort shooting down my arm. Following that hospitalization, I was also put on medication to address the increasing dizziness and tiredness that I felt. I had increasingly worse problems with my muscles and bones aching all over. I was told that nothing could be done, and that I should resign myself to a future in a wheelchair.
I spent 1995 sleeping on my couch because I could no longer walk up stairs to my bedroom, even with my cane. I swallowed my pride and had a chairlift installed, at a cost of $7,500.00 so that I could sleep in my bed. I was up to 15 narcotic pills per day, just to function at a minimal level within the world of life and business. Even at this level of medication my discomfort was at a dull roar. In 1997, I was hospitalized a second time for the same conditions as in 1994, and my medications were increased dramatically.
I can’t remember a day passing that I didn’t pray to die. I knew I didn’t want to live like this and knew that it was getting worse with each passing month. I was fighting everyday to stay out of a wheelchair.
When I went to bed I would wake up every 45 to 60 minutes because I hurt so much. It would then take me 15 to 20 minutes to get back to sleep, only to wake again later. Since I was medically evacuated out of Vietnam, I have had numerous physical problems. Because of significant discomfort in several parts of my body, the Army put me on heavy narcotics. At first it was just a few pills per day, but by the time I was medically discharged in Dec. 1977 I was up to 5 to 6 per day. All these did was dull the discomfort so I could function at an acceptable level.
As the years progressed, I found my health getting increasingly worse. In 1994, I was hospitalized for shortness of breath, extreme tightness in my chest, and discomfort shooting down my arm. Following that hospitalization, I was also put on medication to address the increasing dizziness and tiredness that I felt. I had increasingly worse problems with my muscles and bones aching all over. I was told that nothing could be done, and that I should resign myself to a future in a wheelchair.
I spent 1995 sleeping on my couch because I could no longer walk up stairs to my bedroom, even with my cane. I swallowed my pride and had a chairlift installed, at a cost of $7,500.00 so that I could sleep in my bed. I was up to 15 narcotic pills per day, just to function at a minimal level within the world of life and business. Even at this level of medication my discomfort was at a dull roar. In 1997, I was hospitalized a second time for the same conditions as in 1994, and my medications were increased dramatically.

I saw an article in the Idaho Statesman about a local boy, Lonnie Forbush, age 7, with ALD. I went to see his parents, John & Ronda Forbush, with John Zamora, also a Nikken distributor. We explained the Nikken products and did some demonstrations. Their son’s body appeared very stiff. He was lying in the corner of the sofa like a board. When they tried to stand him up, he went way up on his tip-toes. The tightness of his muscles caused his feet to arch severely. He couldn’t stand or sit along without someone to help him balance. His movements were jerky and uncoordinated. We placed him on a Kenkopad and massaged him with the Magboys and the Kenkocreator. After about 15 minutes his father asked him: “How come you’re smiling so much?”
We left and came back a couple days later and massaged him again. After 10 minutes of massage, his mother upon close examination of his feet, got very excited. He said his feet were relaxing back to normal position. Another 7 year old boy who suffered from complications due to an overdose of medication when he was 2 yrs old was sitting nearby with his hands in very tight fists held close to his chest. Hope for people suffering with Diabetes

The term "diabetes mellitus" refers to a group of diseases that affect how your body uses blood glucose, commonly called blood sugar. Glucose is vital to your health because it's an important source of energy for the cells that make up your muscles and tissues. It's your brain's main source of fuel.
If you have diabetes, no matter what type, it means you have too much glucose in your blood, although the reasons may differ. Too much glucose can lead to serious health problems.
Chronic diabetes conditions include type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Potentially reversible diabetes conditions include prediabetes — when your blood sugar levels are higher than normal, but not high enough to be classified as diabetes — and gestational diabetes, which occurs during pregnancy.
Diabetes symptoms vary depending on how high your blood sugar is elevated. Some people, especially those with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, may not experience symptoms initially. In type 1 diabetes, however, symptoms tend to come on quickly and be more severe. Some of the signs and symptoms of type 1 and type 2 diabetes include:

I live geographically far away from my parents whom I see once a year. My father has the sugar condition and was managing well until 5 months ago. The sores on the soles of his feet were taking a long time to heal and worse of all his feet swelled due to poor circulation. When I walked in to the house I was shocked to see my father reduced in size, and appeared weak and helpless. He could barely walk inching his way with tiny steps. Jerry and I would like to update our testimonial on how our special “Miracle” changed our lives. Our “Miracle” happens to be the Nikken Wellness Products.
In December 1991, I found I had a very serious blood sugar problem requiring injections each day to keep it under control. During the next two years I learned to handle this illness and keep it as close in control as possible.
In November, 1991, I had surgery on an ankle for discomfort in the ankle area on the left foot, which was to be followed by surgery on the right ankle, left and right wrists and left and right elbows. The first surgery (on the left ankle) was not successful, resulting in the feeling not returning to the toes, or the bottom on my foot and heel, not able to lift my foot when walking, excessive swelling from the toes to the hip, and extreme discomfort, the extent I was unable to walk without using a cane, walker or wheel chair This severe discomfort continued and in June 1992, I started experiencing discomfort over my entire body in the muscles and tendons as well as in the head area. I was unable to lie down in bed at night, so slept in a recliner for 2 ½ years with my foot elevated on ice for the discomfort. I had severe discomfort in the colon area, which was blocked and my stomach swollen and distended. I then found I had a disease in the muscles and tendons over my whole body, including the colon area, jaws and teeth and fluid build-up in the head area. In March of 1993 I had an attack with permanent damage to my heart. During this time I was having more and more problems just being able to lead a normal life. I was unable to do my housework, laundry, grocery shopping or cooking meals. I had always loved to work in the lawn and with my flowers, mowing over five acres + 2 lawns each week. Many times while on a short vacation or even to Des Moines to eat out or shop, Jerry had to take me to an emergency room in a hospital wherever we were near. I could only ride in the car for maybe 30 to 40 minutes before I had to get in back and lie down. We had to sell my favorite car (a Thunderbird) because I could not get my leg in and out of the car by myself. After getting stranded a couple of times I couldn’t drive alone again. My worst times were at night … Jerry would stay up with me (sometimes only getting maybe 2 hours sleep a night and working all day). My blood pressure would run extremely high and I filled with fluid around the heart area. My blood sugar was out of control, taking 7 to 10 injections each day with 3 different insulins. The discomfort was unbearable at times, even to the point of going unconscious. From January to July of 1993 I had five injections in the ankle area. In August, 1993, I had five injections in the ankle area. In August 1993, found the bone in the foot, leg and hip was deteriorating (honeycombed) from the loss of calcium. At this time I was

He had talked to my physician at home, as well as the one that had done the vein study, and had set me up “as needed” for injections of a narcotic for discomfort. She would take 1 to 3 nitro’s a day. The pain specialist said they had done all they could do and she should get her life in order, she wasn’t going to make it. She would use a walker, cane, wheel chair and they were going to amputate her leg. About three weeks later, the latter part of March 1994, a Nikken distributor learned about me and came to see me. In many parts of the world it is now recognized that people with diabetes are between 15 and 70 times more likely to undergo lower limb amputation than people without diabetes. This is because certain aspects of the condition influence the feet - making them more likely to be damaged. It is always better to try and prevent problems and doctors now know the types of things that increase the risk of problems with the feet. The risk factors are peripheral neuropathy (altered feelings and sensations in the foot), peripheral vascular disease (poor circulation) and callus and foot deformity (altered skin and bone anatomy). Peripheral neuropathy may cause pain in the feet and it is very
difficult to treat. These factors may or may not be present in every case - the important thing is to make sure that the person is seen by clinic team who can provide good care. The clinic team might include a doctor that specializes in diabetes, a vascular surgeon, a podiatrist (who looks after feet) and an orthotist (that can make/prescribe special shoes). It is most important that you trust your doctors to do the right thing now. There are many things that can be done to help healing and certainly from many points of view that would be the best thing if it is judged possible. If it is still judged possible to attempt healing then our products might be valuable to assist healing. In general, if I meet someone with diabetes and no existing problems with their feet I encourage them to use the magstrides as a
preventative measure and also the sleep system for general health. I feel it is really important that people who already have problems with their feet get advice from a podiatrist or orthotist prior to using the magstrides. I had Neuropathies up to my shin and as a new Diabetic I, and of course worried about someday losing my feet. I was given the Magsteps just so that I could play golf more comfortably. They worked and the rest is history. I am still a diabetic and I still have to be careful and occasionally will have difficulty with my sensitive feet. However, I know that they are under control and I have an important answer to my health problem. Now, tell this doctor that only about 15% of the stuff he uses is backed by scientific investigation, and the only thing he would need to see is that all research and scientific data, regarding magnets, states that they "do no harm." Depending on your relationship with him/her you may also say that equals his Hippocratic Oath, to do no harm and that to

From someone suffering from diabetic peripheral neuropathy, I would recommend that you immediately start him with the magstrides. Watch his gait, then add the magstrides and watch the gait again for balance, et al. Then add a necklace and check the gait again. Continue to add more necklaces one at a time and watch the gait. I recently had a lady in my practice that has familial cerebellar ataxia and her gait was atrocious. I saw her in the office one day and followed this procedure. Although she could barely walk in a straight line when she walked in the door, after adding the magstrides and two necklaces, she could actually heel-toe walk in a slightly cumbersome manner. This is where someone places their heel right in front of the other foot's toes and then continues this procedure. We also began adding some super-minis into her pockets and this provided further stability in her balance. I don't know if it has
simply improved her axial strength, therefore effecting better balance, or if it improved the balance as a separate mechanism, but who cares. The term "diabetes mellitus" refers to a group of diseases that affect how your body uses blood glucose, commonly called blood sugar. Glucose is vital to your health because it's an important source of energy for the cells that make up your muscles and tissues. It's your brain's main source of fuel.
If you have diabetes, no matter what type, it means you have too much glucose in your blood, although the reasons may differ. Too much glucose can lead to serious health problems.

I live geographically far away from my parents whom I see once a year. My father has the sugar condition and was managing well until 5 months ago. The sores on the soles of his feet were taking a long time to heal and worse of all his feet swelled due to poor circulation. When I walked in to the house I was shocked to see my father reduced in size, and appeared weak and helpless. He could barely walk inching his way with tiny steps. Jerry and I would like to update our testimonial on how our special “Miracle” changed our lives. Our “Miracle” happens to be the Nikken Wellness Products.
In December 1991, I found I had a very serious blood sugar problem requiring injections each day to keep it under control. During the next two years I learned to handle this illness and keep it as close in control as possible.
In November, 1991, I had surgery on an ankle for discomfort in the ankle area on the left foot, which was to be followed by surgery on the right ankle, left and right wrists and left and right elbows. I had severe discomfort in the colon area, which was blocked and my stomach swollen and distended. I then found I had a disease in the muscles and tendons over my whole body, including the colon area, jaws and teeth and fluid build-up in the head area. In March of 1993 I had an attack with permanent damage to my heart. During this time I was having more and more problems just being able to lead a normal life. I was unable to do my housework, laundry, grocery shopping or cooking meals. I had always loved to work in the lawn and with my flowers, mowing over five acres + 2 lawns each week. Many times while on a short vacation or even to Des Moines to eat out or shop, Jerry had to take me to an emergency room in a hospital wherever we were near. I could only ride in the car for maybe 30 to 40 minutes before I had to get in back and lie down. We had to sell my favorite car (a Thunderbird) because I could not get my leg in and out of the car by myself. After getting stranded a couple of times I couldn’t drive alone again. My worst times were at night … Jerry would stay up with me (sometimes only getting maybe 2 hours sleep a night and working all day). My blood pressure would run extremely high and I filled with fluid around the heart area. My blood sugar was out of control, taking 7 to 10 injections each day with 3 different insulins. He had talked to my physician at home, as well as the one that had done the vein study, and had set me up “as needed” for injections of a narcotic for discomfort. She would take 1 to 3 nitro’s a day. The pain specialist said they had done all they could do and she should get her life in order, she wasn’t going to make it. She would use a walker, cane, wheel chair and they were going to amputate her leg. About three weeks later, the latter part of March 1994, a Nikken distributor learned about me and came to see me. In many parts of the world it is now recognized that people with diabetes are between 15 and 70 times more likely to undergo lower limb amputation than people without diabetes. This is because certain aspects of the condition influence the feet - making them more likely to be damaged. It is always better to try and prevent problems and doctors now know the types of things that increase the risk of problems with the feet. The risk factors are peripheral neuropathy (altered feelings and sensations in the foot), peripheral vascular disease (poor circulation) and callus and foot deformity (altered skin and bone anatomy). Peripheral neuropathy may cause pain in the feet and it is very
difficult to treat. These factors may or may not be present in every case - the important thing is to make sure that the person is seen by clinic team who can provide good care. The clinic team might include a doctor that specializes in diabetes, a vascular surgeon, a podiatrist (who looks after feet) and an orthotist (that can make/prescribe special shoes). It is most important that you trust your doctors to do the right thing now. There are many things that can be done to help healing and certainly from many points of view that would be the best thing if it is judged possible. If it is still judged possible to attempt healing then our products might be valuable to assist healing. In general, if I meet someone with diabetes and no existing problems with their feet I encourage them to use the magstrides as a
preventative measure and also the sleep system for general health. I feel it is really important that people who already have problems with their feet get advice from a podiatrist or orthotist prior to using the magstrides. About three years ago when I started Nikken my husband mentioned magnetic to his kidney doctor. His reply was "Snake Oil". Well we tried the magsteps first because of foot problems that he had. Almost lost a toe once. Was in the hospital 3-4 times a year. Got infection from even a small cut or scratch, which would usually put him in the hospital to get them cleared up.
