I began my journey back to health by using the back flex during the day for my bad back. Was at the chiropractor every week to stay in shape...never been back since I used the flex. For 8 years, I had been under severe stress and suffering from Restless Leg Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. The only solution the doctors had for me after trying massage, acupuncture, diet, and ultrasound was a mind altering drug that they gave to epileptics to stop seizures. The smallest dose was so powerful I had to cut it in fourths. This is not something I wanted to take for the rest of my life. I am currently 58 yrs. old. I had fibro about 5 yrs. when I was sent to a therapist with someone who specialized in fibro. It was great for a couple of hours but did not last. I was given elivel 100 milligrams at night to help me sleep. I was on meds for arthritis as well. At that time I also had my new knee and was told I needed a new hip. I was very skeptical because I tried everything I could find even went to a pain clinic. Alas the sleep system the magsteps and the magboy were my saviors. In one week I knew something was better and I got up feeling more energy, still had the soreness and still woke up some at night. I was off the meds in about another week. Previously I was up at least 3-4 times a night, now maybe twice. It took a while longer when I did not get up until maybe 5 0r 6 a.m. for the bathroom. I was taking "Paxil" (antidepressant) for fibro. I got immediate results from being on the sleep system. I stopped taking the medication
immediately after I felt better. I would say that I am about 80% better. I don't have that unbearable discomfort anymore. When I do feel stressed, I use the wraps and the mini magnets. The magsteps have been a tremendous help. I also have the necklace, and have had almost no discomfort in my neck. It used to drive me crazy, I cried a lot with my neck pain. Before I knew about Nikken products, I hurt severely all over. I could not sit for more than thirty minutes at the time. Although I carried a back pillow and used it everywhere I went, my back still hurt all over. I suffered with two to three migraine headaches a week. I also had frequent sinus headaches. I could not sleep more than three hours a night because I hurt too much. Much of the time, I could not stand to be touched. I even put a cardboard box at the end of my bed, under the top sheet and put my feet inside so the sheet would not touch my feet. My feet hurt so severely on the top and the bottom that I could hardly walk, even with the expensive inserts the doctor had prescribed. It was torture just to stand up. I was taking twenty-two prescription drugs daily and allergy shots twice weekly. I was taking toridol shots as frequently as I could talk the doctor into allowing them [generally once a week]. I had spinal block treatments and used a TENS unit. Nothing seemed to help for more than a few hours. In November 1997, a friend suggested that I try the Nikken sleep system. He said that he did not know if it would help, but that he would lend me one to try for a week. I slept on the Nikken magnetic pad for a week. After a few days, my back was hurting less and I could sleep more. We purchased a king-size Nikken mattress and the comforter. It's subtle differences that are hard to pinpoint. I started realizing I was doing things I usually couldn't do... How does one thank a company for giving back, and savings ones life? Two years ago, I was given a number to call, by a lady who cared enough about me, to CARE! She wasn't even a distributor, but the mother of one. It took me three weeks, but I did make that call, thank God. On Sept. of '98 I started using the products. I became a distributor in Oct. of '98. I had incontinence, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, degenerative disease of the back with several herniated disks causing sever sciatica, messed up feet from several bad operations and arthritis, ongoing tendonitis and bursitis due to labor intensity related to my job (40 to 50 hours a week) and tinnetis (ears). I have been a police officer in Australia for just over 13 years and during that time I have nearly been killed on numerous occasions. That, coupled with the un-natural high risk, traumatic situations we often find ourselves in, resulted in my being diagnosed and treated, in 1997, for the same traumatic stress related illnesses some war veterans get after battle, or near death encounters. The psych I saw dealt with my problem by prescribing various anti-depressant drugs, each with over twenty unpleasant side effects, which I could literally mark off as they came. When my condition stopped improving the answer was, move to a different drug new to the market, or take more of what I was on. Although some form of medication was necessary in the beginning to help stop the spiral out of control, I ended up taking 1,200 milligrams of a drug called Aurorix, daily, just to function and get up in the morning. It felt like I was floating two feet off the ground. In reality, I felt ‘higher’ than some criminals I had arrested for drug offences, although my drugs were “legal”. In addition to this I had recurring nightmares every night, without fail, to such an extent I was afraid to go to sleep. Chronic insomnia was the diagnosis and again, this was dealt with using sleeping drugs. I tried two strengths, both of which failed to get me to sleep. The third one actually gave me around 3 – 4 hours of non R.E.M. sleep and although that was dream free, I rapidly became totally dependant on those sleeping tablets. I was out of control, continually tired with no energy, angry, confused, and a very unpleasant person to be around. This condition took a huge toll on my marriage, family, and our finances, given the fact that in the beginning of my illness I drank at least one bottle of spirits per day for 91 days, to try and deal with what was happening inside me. The Doctors called it “self medication”. The police service sent me to a further five medical health professionals and each one assessed and treated me the same way, recommending massive doses of prescription drugs. After several years of this, in November of 1999 my wife gave me an ultimatum, come to see a counselor or she was leaving with our daughter. We went and saw a man who worked with his partner, operating an alternative health clinic. I wondered out loud what could he possibly offer me that all the health professionals could not? He had recently returned from North America and showed me a pair of magnetic insoles called Magsteps. March 2000 my wife asked me if I needed another prescription filled, as I should have been getting low. I told her I had stopped taking the drugs and she was amazed when I said it was since January 1st. By using these products I have regained control of myself, my quality of life and that of my family has improved dramatically and when Nikken came to Australian shores in November of 2000 we were compelled to join many thousands of others in sharing these technologies & this opportunity. I never believed in miracles until November of 1994 when I was given my life back after many years of suffering with the constant muscle discomfort throughout my whole body, overwhelming fatigue and no energy.
My condition eventually worsened to the point where I could no longer work. Having been a career person and a high achiever all my life, this change was very devastating for me. I did reluctantly learn to accept and deal with the tremendous changes that had to be made in my daily living routine. Luckily I had a very supportive husband who was also willing to alter his lifestyle to suit my condition. On August 24, 1994 I was in a critical car accident and suffered a severe head injury. Shortly after the accident my problems began: constant, gnawing agony throughout my body (like the worst flu imaginable), poor sleep, fatigue and headaches to the point of nausea. I tried everything to “make me better": cranial-sacral therapy, acupuncture, acupressure, physiotherapy, massage, exercise programs, chiropractic treatments and spinal injections (cortisone combined with 4-5 other drugs injected up through my tailbone and into my spine), etc. While these worked for a period of time, eventually my body would adapt and I would have to adjust my maintenance program. Sometimes, it would get so bad I was forced to visit Emergency to have morphine administered. In January 2000, I was in a little fender-bender causing my situation to worsen to an unmanageable state. At the age of 24, and the beginning of an already successful, promising career, I went on disability. I retried all the previous therapies and anything new I could get my hands on; and trust me, some of the alternatives were pretty weird. I had no quality of life. Sleep was fitful at best and often non-existent. I had to nap frequently just to get through the day. When I was awake, it was like I was living in a fog, one of the many side effects I experienced from popping 10+ painkillers per day. In May, my family and I took a small road trip to Kelowna. Our activities had to be planned around my daily vomiting, from taking even more pills than normal, in order to get me through the day. Needless to say, it was miserable. I finally realized that this was my life and drugs were my only alternative. To my horror, my body was beginning to adapt to the Tylenol 4 with Codeine, Flexural, Darvon, Baclofen, Vioxx, Celebrex, Anti-convulsants, and trigger point injections of Xylocaine 2-3 times per week. I was terrified, anything I hadn’t already lost, I thought I was going to lose. It seemed that prescribed Morphine and Neuro-Transmitter blockers were my next alternative. Beyond that, Dr. Kevorkian. I had heard about Nikken and turned it down flat, having tried the insoles previously with no real relief. Thankfully, I went to a meeting with Anne Wilson, an independent Nikken distributor. With much skepticism, I agreed to try the mattress she was willing to lend me. In order to prove that it didn’t work I stopped taking my existing narcotics and didn't start the Morphine. That was in October 2000. I haven't taken any pills since. The products haven’t cured me and I won’t be returning to work anytime soon , but I can now deal with that because finally, I have some quality of life and it keeps getting better. When I first looked into Nikken, I just couldn't wait to get sleep systems under all my friends with fibromyalgia. And, first thing, I had two prospects experience violent reactions. Scared me to death! Subsequently, I learned from a more experienced distributor (who has fibromyalgia herself) that it is better to allow these folks to detox very gradually. Here is her system:
1. Begin by having the person drink PiMag Water and take our Joint & Liver supplements for 10 days to two weeks 2. Then add the comforter and pillow.
3. Finally, add the magnetic mattress pad.
The person who taught me this says she gives her prospects a choice: she tells them that they can start using the whole system immediately and risk going through a rough detox period, or they can approach it slowly, take longer, and have a gentler detox. I have since used this approach and it works very well.

I'm not sure which symptoms to relate to which problem, but I do know that together, they are very debilitating. I started on the sleep system in March of 2000, and also the neck wrap, insoles and nutrition. I received almost immediate relief and by the third day I no longer required the strong medication for pain. Today I don't even take aspirin or Tylenol. You are looking at a picture of my husband and myself. As you can see, I was in a wheelchair and not a very happy person. My body was too weak from all the nights without sleep due to 7 disabilities I have. My body hurt everywhere. I couldn't walk on my own. I couldn't lift a gallon of milk or hold a pen in my fingers. They were bent and ached. I have had 12 major surgeries, blood transfusions, kidney failures, and nearly lost my life more than a couple of times. My jaw was locked for 8 months with a calcified disc that went forward in the joint. My prognosis was surgery from the Mayo clinic that gave me 20% success rate to eat supple foods for life but not relief of the chronic, intense pain. My daily life was full of prescription drugs, writing notes to my husband and children and having no phone because I was completely unable to speak. From having my own medical billing business at home and working outside the home part time, my deteriorated physical state required at 34 years old to be retrained by the State for disabilities. I was told by Dr. that CM Cream is the Fibro person's best friend if you put it on the bottom of their feet at night right before they try to go to sleep, it helps them to fall asleep faster, and they get a deeper, better quality of sleep! You can put CM Cream on them anywhere they hurt during the day as that will help them too, as it removes inflammation. The only people it doesn't work on are those taking steroids, or who have dirty livers (but one person who had a dirty liver felt results within 20 minutes, so you never know). Also Room Air Cleaner run on Turbo for the full 8 hours while they are sleeping (or trying to sleep) is very helpful as it relaxes muscles, helps them fall asleep faster, and get deeper, better quality of sleep, plus they get more energy too. While at Oct. Launch, sat 12 feet away from room air cleaner that was on Turbo, within 50 minutes, felt relaxation of muscles in neck, shoulders, back, increased energy, and of course, could breath better too! A very good friend of mine with Fibro, felt very ill after using the sleep system for at least a week. She wasn't drinking enough and the second week it started to improve after she started drinking more water. A Nikken doc told her she would kill herself if she kept up with all her medication - so she was willing to stick it out. Her neck discomfort vanished on one side within 1 hour of having the necklace on and was almost gone on the other side. Maybe it’s a good idea for people with fibro to start wearing the necklace & earrings if a female - once they notice that the sleep system is doing its job. My Mom also has fibro and it took her about six months to get relief from her hip and back problems. It was worth the wait though. Her headaches never did improve, although she seems to get some benefit from the Elastomag headband. Every body is different but I have never heard of any long time Nikken user with Fibro that didn't have improvements. Make sure to drink lots of water. If someone is hydrated, nothing will work.

I do not tolerate meds. After starting to use the Nikken products I was able to go off all of them and that was 5 years ago... all I have used since then is the Nikken products. Starting with the sleep system, magsteps and magboy. I guess I was one of the miracles because I was helped right away. As new products come out I use all of them, especially the water, the PalmMag, Necklace, Neck collar (when my neck and shoulders hurt and I am out and about this is a life saver) I was told I would never be able to paint china again (but I am now thanks to Nikken) I have to limit my time but I am able to paint again. I use the KenkoWave for where ever I have pain. I ta ke the Joint, Calcium, Multi, Mental Clarity, Immunity, and Jade GreenZymes. I use what ever it takes for the moment to give me energy and take away the discomfort as I said I use them all. I have had Fibromyalgia for 13 years. In the early years, I was on multiple medications that left me feeling drugged up. Within the last year, I was given a Nikken necklace and a pillow to try. My neck pain is one of those that just doesn't go away and only fluctuates between hurting and more hurting. At one point I could not lie on a pillow as the pressure was too great. The combo of the 2 released my constant tightness and pain! So then I tried a Nikken mattress pad that was loaned to me. Wow, what terrific sleep I had. I of course, have purchased all of the mentioned products. I have been able to manage my pain because of Nikken and felt I wanted to be able to help others, so I became a distributor but I would not have done so if I had not had the privilege of trying the products before I bought them.

Annette and I feel that it is our moral obligation to share her story and what Nikken can do for everyone. So here is our story:
In 1985 a drunk driver rear-ended Annette at 50+ MPH. She developed fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. In Feb. of 2001, Annette came out on the little landing in front of our upstairs bedroom and called down to me at the foot of the stairs, asking for prayer. She needed more energy to keep teaching in her busy piano studio. The next month we bought the Nikken water system from one of Annette’s student moms, Masami. We had no idea of how good the water was, but trusted the Japanese lady recommending the system to us. After using the water about a month, Annette was invited to Masami’s house. She was shown demos of magnetic and far infrared light energy. Very impressed by what she saw, Annette bought a few things since she felt more energy with them. This Japanese “angel” also loaned Annette a Nikken Sleep System, not knowing there was a sleep problem. Annette herself had no expectation of benefit. I am so excited! The longer I use the OsteoDenx the better I feel. I am finding my energy levels are getting better and my sleep is much more complete. I have fibromyalgia. I am having fewer restless nights where I can't sleep either because of pain and discomfort or waking up each time I move during the night. I am so impressed with this product. It seems that it is taking years off too. Several times in the last 10 days Dan or I have commented on the fact we've been married nearly 30 years or that our children are in their 20's and people don't believe it. Today a cashier said she could believe I was 30, but there was no way I looked old enough to have been married 30 years! It's not often someone takes 15 years off your age in one sentence, but I thought it was a great compliment. No one has said I looked younger than my age for a long time. I risk making this sound unbelievable, but I've even begun to lose some inches. I can't say whether or not I've lost weight, but some of my clothes are getting loose. I'm sure it's because I can do more these days. Not every day is perfect, I still have times when I hurt, but if I were to rate my discomfort on a 1 to 10 scale; I was living between 7 to 9 all the time, even with as much medicine and as strong as the doctors could give me outside of a hospital setting. I took it round the clock just to be able to function. Now when I have a bad day, I would rate myself at a 4, most of the time not even that high. I can take over-the-counter medicine to get relief. What an enormous difference for me! I know it will take some time to rebuild my muscles and stamina after a declining use of my body over the last 17 years since I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, but now I have hope and knowledge that I will regain what I thought was lost forever. It isn't. I can't wait to be able to
walk my 6 miles a day and to bike and play basketball, etc with Dan and to have the energy and stamina when my grandchildren eventually are born. This seems too good to be true, yet every morning I wake up and realize it isn't a dream, it really is happening. Thanks to Nikken and thanks to OsteoDenx I have a life again that I can enjoy instead of one in which I just exist. Enough, because I could go on for a long time about the wonders of OsteoDenx in my life.
